As more and more years go by, more and more re-makes, re-imaginings, and re-boots are taking place, and still will take place. This time around Nintendo is re-creating an old classic. No we’re not talking about Metroid: Samus Returns , this is Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions .
This is a recreation of the Mario & Luigi game that started it all on the Game Boy Advance. For those unfamiliar, the brothers travel to the Beanbean Kingdom in search of a way to give Princess Peach her voice back. You control the brothers interchangeably to overcome puzzles. Teamwork is the name of the game! If you time your movements well you can dodge blows from your enemies and launch counter-attacks.
This version of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga includes something new. In the Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser mode, you’ll take on the role of Captain Goomba. Along with ShyGuy, Boo, and other Mario bad guys, you’ll search for Bowser. It is a real-time strategy game.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga also inclues amiibo support. The Mario, Luigi, and Boo figures are all useable. Coming soon will be new Goomba and Koopa Troopa amiibo! Will you be picking up the game when it releases on October 6, 2017?!
