Bowser Now in Charge of Nintendo’s Marketing

Bowser Now in Charge of Nintendo’s Marketing

If you missed out on the hilarity last year, it might amuse you to know that Nintendo hired a man by the name of Doug Bowser as Vice President of Sales last year. The internet lost its shit, and it was great. Bowser even got in on it, posting a picture of himself holding a sign that read, “Thank you for the warm welcome.” Behind him on a shelf you can clearly see Mario and Luigi tied up and bound with the cord of a Game Cube controller, while the koopas and goombas sit freely about the office. This guy is going places.

Actually, this guy has already gone places. Bowser was discreetly promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing recently, a position formerly held my Scott Moffit. Moffit parted ways from Nintendo last month, and originally it was believed that his position was due to be dissolved, but that obviously is not the case. At any rate, Bowser will have his hands full with the impending announcement and launch of Nintendo’s NX, so we wish him all the best!
