Grand Theft Auto V is known for its wide range of guns and weapons. While some offer novelty or creativity, others are simply there to kill. Today, we’re giving you our list of the most devastating weapons in GTA V that will eliminate any target. While every gun is viable to beat the game or battle online, some just pack a punch that can’t be replicated.
Heavy Sniper MK2
While slower than its non-MK2 counterpart, the Heavy Sniper MK2 is one of the most lethal guns in the game. It’s able to vanquish enemies from a long range and even take out vehicles. While the MK2 version costs a bit more, the extra damage makes the price well worth the price. Couple the gun with special ammunition like explosive or incendiary, and you’ll take down players in one shot. The sniper can be bought for $165,375 at Ammu-Nation, although special ammo can hurt the pocketbook.
Assault Shotgun
Sometimes, you can’t take out your target from far away, and you require some heavy up-close action. The Assualt Shotgun is guaranteed to disintegrate your foe with few shots required. The weapon is a powerhouse because of its fully automatic capabilities and the staggered 32 shells it carries. Other shotguns are too slow compared to the Assault Shotgun, as they employ Pump Action or Semi-Automatic. It can be bought for $1,500 ($10,000 online) at Ammu-Nation.
AP Pistol
Pistols are usually forgotten about, especially in games with large arsenals like GTA. The AP Pistol doesn’t just stand out from the crowd, it sets the standard. As a fully automatic weapon, it is the most accurate and effective gun for drive-bys. Granted, you won’t be taking out enemies at long-range with it, but close to medium-range, they are as good as dead. It can be bought from Ammu-Nation for $1,000 ($5,000 online).
Up-N-Atomizer
The Up-N-Atomizer is not the best weapon in the game. However, it packs a punch and is insanely fun to use. Sending pulse waves at enemies and cars, causing them to fly up in the air, never gets old. While other weapons can dish out more damage or stop vehicles in their tracks, the Up-N-Atomizer is more novelty. That doesn’t stop us from pulling it out at every chance, blasting enemies into the sky. It can be purchased in the Agency Armory or from the Gun Van but was removed from Ammu-Nation.
Sticky Bombs
Not all weapons need to be guns to be effective. Sticky Bombs have unlimited potential and offer more strategy than simply shooting an opponent. Placing them in common areas or known getaway locations can cause players to die instantly with the push of a button. Also, the addition of being sticky allows them to be placed anywhere, regardless of physics. They can be bought from Ammu-Nation for $400 ($600 on Grand Theft Auto V online).
