Sometimes, we all can get a little crazy in GTA V, whether it’s running over pedestrians or robbing that convenience store for a few hundred bucks. The open-world sandbox allows for limitless possibilities, and that’s before giving the player an arsenal of guns. But no matter how much fun we have, there’s always someone trying to take us down. Those pesky police are always ruining the mood. So today, we are going to explain how to lower your wanted level in GTA V and GTA Online.
Old Reliable
The classic way players can drop their police star levels is by high-tailing it out of there. Jumping into a car, stolen or not, and driving away as fast as possible usually works. By looking at your map HUD, you can see where the police are and can avoid them easily.
As your wanted level goes up, so does the police presence. A one-star level can be erased in seconds, while a five-star level can take some time. Five-stars will bring out more police, helicopters, and traps to stop you from getting away. A fast enough car can get rid of helicopters and easily avoid traps if you are skilled enough. This becomes even easier if you have an aircraft of your own.

GTA Online
On GTA Online, players can simply call Lester from their phones to remove their wanted level entirely. However, Lester will charge a small fee for each star level you have. A one-star will cost $200, while a five-star will cost $1000. This can be done as many times as you want, so long as you have the funds for it.
