EA Access Subbers Will Get Dragon Age: Inquisition 5 Days Early

EA Access Subbers Will Get Dragon Age: Inquisition 5 Days Early

Remember EA Access? Electronic Arts’ very own subscription-based service that was announced back in late-July, exclusive to the Xbox One ? Well, those amongst you who have subscribed to the service, and are also Dragon Age fans/enthusiasts, may be happy to know that Dragon Age: Inquisition will be available a whole five days earlier via EA Access before it officially releases everywhere else.

EA confirmed that EA Access subbers will be able to download and play the Xbox One version of the game starting from Thursday, November 13, just before the game launches on Tuesday, November 18. However, even though the game will be available five days early, it’ll only be playable under a six-hour time limit.

Thankfully, however, all the progress gained in this time limit will be carried over to the full version of the game. EA Access subbers will also be able to take advantage of a 10 percent discount if they buy Dragon Age: Inquisition through the service, too.

The six-hour trial lets you create your hero, form your Inquisition, and take your first steps into Thedas, exploring the world and battling evil in both real-time and tactical combat, ” EA said in a statement.

Discover the Hinterlands, where the war between Templars and mages has hit a fever pitch, or gather materials and schematics for crafting your arsenal. You can even jump into Inquisition’s cooperative multiplayer missions.

If you’re interested in trying out Dragon Age: Inquisition a whole five days early, with the challenge of getting as far as possible under a six-hour time limit, a monthly subscription to EA Access $4.99, while an annual subscription will cost $29.99. You also won’t need Xbox LIVE in order to use the service, but you’ll need LIVE in order to a games’ multiplayer, even if said games are through EA Access.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be launching on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A browser-based companion app for the game, along with a story tie-in , will allow you to customise the story of Dragon Age: Inquisition to your preference (similar to making decisions in the Mass Effect mini-stories that would then change certain elements of a given sequel) as well as find out what happened during the events between Dragon Age II and Inquisition .

We’ll bring you more news on the game should further information reach our ears.
