If you’re like me, and you like videogame soundtracks (either their original form or their various remixes) and if you happen to like Pokémon , you may be happy to hear that an orchestrally enhanced version of the Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen soundtrack is now available on iTunes.
Detailed in a press release, the Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen: Super Music Collection features orchestral adaptations of the FireRed / LeafGreen soundtrack, which in itself was a revamped version of the original Red / Blue / Yellow soundtrack with similarities to the Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald soundtrack.
This collection follows the release of the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y: Super Music Collection back in early November and will soon be followed by more enhanced orchestral adaptations of the rest of the main series of Pokémon games later in 2014, which is to say there will be a Super Music Collection of HeartGold / SoulSilver , Ruby / Sapphire , Black / White , Black 2 / White 2 . Whether they’ll be released in that order remains to be seen.
