Ensemble Studios, creators of the classic Age of Empires and related franchises, have set official release dates for Halo Wars. The 360 exclusive RTS will release first in Japan and other Asian territories on February 26, in Europe on February 27, and in North and South America on March 3. Those who preorder the game will be treated to an in-game Warthog unit emblazoned with flames. The collector’s edition version will be packed with a ton of goodies. I’ll let Ensemble speak for themselves: “The Limited Collector’s Edition is also available and includes a special in-game “Honor Guard” Wraith, a graphic novel, six Leader cards and a “Spirit of Fire” patch. As an additional exclusive, LCE owners will get early access to the in-game “Halo 3” Mythic Map Pack for exciting new multiplayer action.”
