If you’ve ever noticed those warnings in game manuals regarding seizures but never experienced any ill effects from playing videogames, consider yourself extremely fortunate. The Epilepsy Foundation has released a series of new guidelines to avoid these unexpected seizures.
- Sit at least 2 feet away from the screen in a well-lit room.
- Reduce the screen’s brightness.
- Don’t let children play videogames if
they are tired.
A good rule of thumb is to take a 10-15 minute break for every 2 hour gaming session. Don’t overdo it! Play safe.
