Fallout 4 Mod Makes Dialogue Less of a Guessing Game

Fallout 4 Mod Makes Dialogue Less of a Guessing Game

Fallout 4 is full of memorable characters who share the wasteland with your hero, and with whom you’ll have many game changing interactions. There is a lot of dialogue in the game, and often you’ll be asked to make some significant decision in the course of a conversation that will change the way things play out for you and your allies. That’s why I sometimes wear a dress into town (every point of charisma matters, people). It can sometimes be frustrating choosing from a list of four, ambiguous summaries when responding to someone, especially at key moments. Pressing A expecting a simple “No, thank you” will sometimes have your character saying something rude, creating hostility between yourself and someone you never intended to piss off.

For PC gamers there’s a new mod picking up steam that will save you the uncertainty and ambiguity that can make navigating certain conversations so difficult. Simply called “Full Dialogue Interface,” users Shadwar and Cirosan have released a mod that will list your full, four, possible responses whenever prompted. For someone like me, who is tempted to pick the “sarcastic” response in almost every exchange but too afraid to screw themselves over, this is the perfect solution. You can get the mod here .
