Final Fantasy VII Coming Back To PC

Final Fantasy VII Coming Back To PC

None

Though it may not be the HD remake that JRPG fans are clamoring for, Square is, in fact, re-releasing Final Fantasy VII.

The new version will be a re-release of the PC version, though this time around the game will come with a few extra features. For example, the game will have a whole suite of achievements to unlock and will support cloud saving.

Get it? Cloud saving?

In addition, the game will have some sort of “character booster” mechanic, which will allow you to tweak your party’s stats, XP gain, gil, and more. This sounds like some sort of DLC pack, allowing users to pay for Game Shark-like functionality. I wonder if Square will go the whole way and actually allow gamers to pay to let Aeris survive. Wouldn’t that be a kick in the pants?

As of now we do not know when the game will be released, however we do know that it will come in multiple different languages and will be exclusive to the Square Enix store. Sorry, Steam users.
