Final Fantasy XIII-2 First DLC Detailed

Even though Final Fantasy XIII-2 was just released, Square Enix already has plans to deliver DLC for the game in only a few days. On February 7, gamers will be able to download DLC that allows them to fight Lightning and Master Sergeant Amodar in the coliseum. By defeating these enemies, you will be able to add them to your party in a monster slot. Unlocking the ability to fight these enemies costs 240 Microsoft points, or three U.S. dollars on the PSN.



When you consider this DLC along with the released “Omega” DLC, it looks as though Square Enix is planning to make extensive use of the Coliseum for DLC purpose. Don’t worry though, Square has promised that they will release several full “episodes” of DLC which will expand on the story of Final Fantasy XIII-2. They have not yet detailed how these episodes would play out, but we can probably expect them to be something like Alan Wake or Resident Evil 5: fully independent story segments with controlled equipment, levels, and times.
