Final Fantasy XIV Patch Adds New PVP Mode

Final Fantasy XIV Patch Adds New PVP Mode

Big things have come to Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward with patch 3.05. Aside from the usual, like fixes for various bugs or new gear that can be made with newly added items, there are three big additions that make FFXIV more appealing to people who thought they’d already done everything important.

To be more exact, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward patch 3.05 gives people a new way to engage in PVP, a stronger raid, and something new to collect. The PVP is a Frontline Seal Rock (Seize) event, where people at level 60 can participate to earn experience and Wolf Marks that can make new equipment. The goal is to collect and defend Allagan Tomeliths, which tie into the new items to collect. Allagan Tomestones of Esoterics have been added to the game as rewards for things like raids. If you find, occupy, activate, and extract data from them, you can get Artifact gear. You can only collect 450 a week, so it’ll take you a while complete your gear set.

Finally, there’s a new version of the Alexander Gordias raid. Eight people can challenge a Savage mode of it to earn tokens for level 190 gear. But again, it’ll take you a while to get it all, since you’re locked out of the raid for a week after each floor you complete.
