2016 could be the year of the JRPG rumble. Both Final Fantasy XV and Persona 5 , two of the PlayStation 4’s biggest games for next year, could be out at the same time. How do we know? Because Square Enix sent out a Final Fantasy XV survey to Japanese gamers asking them a lot of questions about Atlus’ JRPG
The survey first asked which game people would be more likely to buy if they were released at the same time, Final Fantasy XV, Persona 5 , or both (personally, I’d choose Persona 5 ). A follow up question then asked people who chose Persona 5 why they would want it. Think of it as being asked by a person on the street if you’re a dog or cat person, then being grilled about your preference.
Persona 5 was supposed to be released in 2015, but slipped to 2016 earlier this year. Final Fantasy XV will be released sometime in 2016.
