You usually expect game and accessory leaks to come from people scouring official and retailer sites, but the latest “announcement” comes from the grocery store. Someone named Ty Dash was looking at some Kraft Mac & Cheese and learned something new about Disney Infinity 3.0 . The game is going to get a Finding Dory playset. The image shows Dory, who is the star of the movie that’s set to be released on June 17.
Disney has had nothing to say about the set yet, of course. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the set release alongside the movie. That’s what happened with Zootopia . Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde ended up getting their NFC figures and a Power Disc pack when the movie was released.
Disney already announced it wouldn’t be putting out a Disney Infinity 4.0 this year. It’s going the Lego Dimensions route and releasing more playset packs instead. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more updates to Disney Infinity 3.0 after Finding Dory. The Jungle Book, Moana, and Pete’s Dragon are coming out this year. Maybe they’ll get figures or sets too?
