As promised, Bethesda is continuing to support Dishonored 2 with free updates. The second content patch is live today, adding custom difficulty options and a mission select feature to the game.
Much more than a simple list of difficulty tiers, the custom difficulty feature allows you to tweak over 20 different aspects of the game to suit your preferences. You can do things like adjust how many enemies will engage you simultaneously and alter the effectiveness of sleep darts. A permadeath mode was also added. Mission select is just as it sounds; you can now start from the beginning of any mission you’ve completed without losing your playthrough status.
The first free update for Dishonored 2 released in December, adding a highly-requested New Game Plus feature. You can download both updates for free immediately on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
