Did you know GameStop had a yearly charity campaign? The retailer does, and it will be continuing the practice this year. The company is teaming up with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to take donations to help sick children. It’s called Thanks and Giving.
Here’s how you give. When you make a purchase at GameStop, either in-store or online, you’ll have the option of making a donation to St. Jude’s. If you give $1 or more, you’ll get 10% extra trade-in credit for any PlayStation 4 or Xbox One games you’re turning in. People who are PowerUp Rewards members also get triple points. There are 25% percent discounts on Skin-It sleeves too.
The GameStop and St. Jude’s Thanks and Giving campaign runs until December 31. This is the third year the two have teamed up. The goal this time is to hopefully raise $1 million. People can also donate at the ThinkGeek Orlando, Florida store, Simply Mac, or Spring Mobile AT&T.
