As the iPhone/iPod becomes more of a gaming platform, it’s rumored that some GameStop locations will begin trading in select iPod models. Though GameStop hasn’t said anything specific about their plans, several forum users have seen new signage about an iPod trading program at GameStop locations around the country (though no one has reported a successful trade in as of yet). We’re labeling this one as a rumor for now, but if GameStop does start trading iPod hardware, it will be an interesting shift for the retailer.  |
