Gran Turismo 5 Brings Fixes, New Cars

Gran Turismo 5 Brings Fixes, New Cars

None

Already collected every vehicle in Gran Turismo 5? Driven them around the track so many times you could do it blindfolded, by engine sound alone? Sony and Polyphony Digital hear your demands for more and are happy to deliver, for a price.

First, though, the free stuff. Update 2.02 is coming next week, bringing with it various fixes and changes and introducing the 2012 Toyota FT-86, which will go directly into your collection. Other big alterations include the ability to change wheels on Standard cars and see how oil changes, aerodynamic parts, engine overhauls, and racing modifications will affect performance before committing to them.

Secondly, the DLC: Car Pack 2, which will cost $3.99. It introduces the 2010 Volkswagen Scirocco R, 2011 Mini Cooper S, 2010 Volkswagen Golf VI R, and the 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition R35. That’s a real alphabet soup, that is. Further, those who have already purchased previous DLC will unlock the Gran Turismo Racing Kart 125 SP and five New Car Refresh cards.

Both the update and DLC will be coming to the PSN next week.
