Excellent news, Halo fans. There’s been a matchmaking update for Halo 4’s multiplayer. Also, episode 7 of Spartan Ops was released today.
Of note is the addition of Grifball to Halo 4. Grifball is a game mode created by Burnie Burns of Rooster Teeth, creators of the Red vs. Blue webseries. In it, two teams of four are equipped with gravity hammers and energy swords as players attempt to detonate the bomb, or the ball, in the enemy team’s base. Simple enough, right?
Additionally, two new classes have also been added to the game: the engineer and stalker. Engineers are able to repair and reconstitute various technology, such as Covenant and Forerunner networks. Stalkers, well, stalk. They’re optimized for “shadowing missions” and use tactical invisibility.
Finally, as mentioned before, episode 7 of Spartan Ops is out. The story continues!
