Halo 5 Half-Off to Celebrate Halo World Championships

Halo 5 Half-Off to Celebrate Halo World Championships

The Halo World Championships have been going on for a bit. Already, over 900 teams composed of over 4,000 players have competed, and now it’s getting down to the wire. Starting today, the final 16 teams will be going head-to-head to compete for a prize pool that totals $2.5 million (this is where a lot of the money 343 gets from your purchase of REQ packs goes). The winning team will be splitting a life-changing $1 million, which is some serious cash.

Speaking of cash, you can save some right now. If you’ve been waiting to buy Halo 5: Guardians until it goes on sale, then now would be the time to act. In celebration of the Halo World Championships, Halo 5 is currently half-off. This discount applies to the standard version and the deluxe version, which are priced at $30 and $45 respectively. The deluxe versions comes with the Warzone REQ bundle and the animated series Halo: The Fall of Reach. We’re not sure how long the sale will last, but the final day of competition is Sunday, so you may want to take advantage of the discount before then.
