Hello Games Still Working on No Man’s Sky for PC

No Man’s Sky is finally here – if you’re a PS4 player. PC players are still waiting for the game to arrive on Steam, which it is scheduled to do on Friday. The wait has been grueling for most, but early impressions from the PS4 version indicate that it was worth it. Though the game has gone gold and already received a huge update, Sean Murray has had no time to relax. He and his team are still hard at work on the PC version, according to a recent Reddit AMA in which Murray participated.

“The reality is that we’re still here working on it right now,” he said. “There’s no conspiracy, we’re just racing to get all the extra options and stuff we want.” Of course fans were responding at a feverish rate, pummeling Murray with questions and requests. PC players with enormous monitors, or multiple monitors, were especially concerned about FOV options, to which Murray responded, “Innes and Charlie are here working on it right now, but every time someone asks we take away one degree of field of view.” It’s good to see that Murray is in still in high spirits and cracking jokes, but he’s no doubt going to be stressed out and busy for the next few weeks analyzing player feedback and working on updates. Good luck to him and the team at Hello Games, and stay tuned for CheatCC’s review of No Man’s Sky which will be posted in the near future.
