With as good as Batman: Arkham Asylum was, it should come as no surprise the game’s fans eagerly awaiting the sequel wouldn’t be content with just a teaser trailer and an image of Batman and Catwoman on the cover of the upcoming Game Informer magazine. According to CVG, some readers have already gotten their copies of this magazine and are informing anyone who will listen about the details of the upcoming Batman: Arkham City.  While all of these leaked details must be filed as rumors, there certainly are some juicy bits of potentially true information to be found. Firstly, the game is said to begin with Arkham Asylum and Black Gate Prison being declared unfit to hold prisoners, resulting in Quincy Sharp buying and walling off a large section of Gotham’s slums to hold them, creating Arkham City. Secondly, the plot (or a subplot) of the game is supposed to revolve around Two Face’s attempt to execute Catwoman in order to gain the respect of the other inmates. Lastly, players will supposedly start the game with all of the gadgets they collected in Arkham Asylum. Sounds good to me, I just hope most of this is true. |
