“Hyrule Historia” Unseats Grey Behemoth On Amazon

When The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia was first announced for release in Japan, speculation ran rampant as to what deep, well-kept secrets the tome would unveil. When it was announced that the official Zelda timeline would be present among those unearthed gems, the worldwide Zelda fan base went rabid. A translation was immediately sought, and, with no formal announcement in sight, fans with access to the Japanese version and a suitable knowledge of the language were quick to create their own.

The book has since been announced for release in the West. It’s being published in North America by Dark Horse, slated for release in January. It is also, as of now, the top-selling item on Amazon.com, unseating even the single most popular work of erotic fiction (or fiction in general, apparently) at this moment: 50 Shades of Grey . If ever there was any doubt as to the strength and tenacity of the Zelda fan base, I believe this is plenty to quell it.
