I Am Bread , the new game from the makers of Surgeon Simulator , will be released on PC this week.
What is I Am Bread you ask? It’s a new simulator game where you get to play as, what else, bread! Your goal is to control your four corners in order to make your way from the breadbox to the toaster while remaining as tasty as possible. If you manage to drag yourself across butter, jam, syrup, or even sprinkles, you will become even more yummy and will get bonuses. However, if you get dirty, drag yourself on the floor, or otherwise make yourself unappetizing, your edibility decreases and you risk losing the game. It’s about as weird as it sounds, and it’s likely to be a whole lot of fun.
The game will retail for ten dollars on Steam via the Steam Early Access program. Of course, this does mean that you are buying an as of yet unfinished game, which is always a risky proposition. Still, many great games have come out on early access, and this does look to be one of them.
The game was announced back in October. It’s unclear how much development time has been spent on the game so far, but it sure looks fun. We will bring you an update on I Am Bread when it releases.
