Injustice: Gods Among Us – Scorpion DLC Cheats & Cheat Codes for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Windows, and More

Injustice: Gods Among Us Summary

Vengance comes in a firey blaze. The poster boy for Mortal Kombat enters the Injustice cast. The ninja-turned-specter, Scorpion, has come to Injustice on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Let’s give it a brief rundown to make sure we’re all on the same topic.

Injustice, released on April 26, 2013, is a fighting game developed by Netherrealm Studios and published by DC Comics. It stars iconic DC characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and more. Scorpion, a character from Mortal Kombat, doesn’t have a role in the story and is only available as a DLC character. But he does have his arcade mode in the game.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Premise

In the world of Injustice, the clown prince of Crime, Joker, has nuked Metropolis and made Superman kill his wife and their unborn son. Why? Because in his own words, he wanted a win, and if he couldn’t get it against his longtime rival Batman, he would take it against Superman.

The result? Superman breaks his no-killing rule by plunging his hand into and through Joker’s chest. What follows is a long and bloody conflict that requires the aid of another Justice League, one that hasn’t been corrupted like this one.

So, what does that have to do with Scorpion? Not a lot. But who is this revenant ninja from beyond the grave?

First appearing in the inaugural Mortal Kombat game (released way back in the 1990s), Scorpion was once the head of the Shyrai-ryu ninja clan, and his name was Hanzo Hisashi. (Fun fact! Hanzo is the name of a legendary real-life ninja). It was, until one chilly day, their rival clan, the Chinese Lin-Kuei, attacked their home and killed everyone including Hanzo, his wife, and his child. His story as Hanzo came to an end, but Scorpion’s rage was just beginning. Brought back to unlife as an evil sorcerer’s undead revenant, Scorpion participated in many Mortal Kombat tournaments to take revenge upon his killer. The fridged assassin is known as Sub-Zero.

Another fun fact — Sub-Zero’s little brother, who also took up the name Sub-Zero, appears as DLC in the second Injustice game.

In Scorpion’s arcade story, he is pulled to the Injustice Universe by unseen magic just as he was about to kill Sub-Zero. Being the angry fellow he is, he seeks a way back to Earthrealm, and anyone who gets in his way is going to feel his wrath.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Main Characters

There are quite a few characters in the Injustice cast, so let’s go over all of them! Note, that we’ll only be covering those who appear on the console versions of Injustice.

  • Aquaman. He’s not the Superfriend you remember. Aquaman is the King of the Seas and is more than capable of making you remember it.
  • Ares. The Greek God of War. Seeks to start conflict to regain his power.
  • Bane. He once broke the back of the bat, and now works as an enforcer in Superman’s regime.
  • Batgirl. Barbara Gordan is back! Once crippled, now a crime fighter once again, Batgirl returns to fight the Joker as a DLC character.
  • Batman. Look, you know who this is.
  • Black Adam. The rightful ruler of a nation. Black Adam commands the living lightning alongside Shazam.
  • Catwoman. The Classic cat burglar who’s capable of cracking into any vault, and quite possibly the only one to steal Batman’s heart.
  • Cyborg. A Teen Titan without his team. Cyborg is the brains and the brawns.
  • Deathstroke. No, he’s not Deadpool. Slade Wilson comes guns a blazing.
  • Doomsday. The one who once killed Superman, now he is a mind-controlled attack beast for him.
  • The Flash. The Fastest Man Alive, the Scarlet Speedster. Capable of running across the entire world in about a second, and even faster if he has a plane to catch.
  • Green Arrow. The emerald archer, and no, he’s not Robin Hood.
  • Green Lantern. The man without fear, at least in one universe. Hal Jordan is a space cop who can make anything with his green lantern ring.
  • Harley Quinn. Once a rogue, now a hero (kind of). Harley Quinn is one of Batman’s most trusted allies.
  • Hawkgirl. A warrior woman from another planet can fly with her hawk wings and her nth metal mace.

And even more!

  • Joker. He’s dead in one universe, but alive in another.
  • Killer Frost. The queen of cold has no relation to Mister Freeze or Captain Cold. We think.
  • Lex Luthor. A pretty nice guy in this universe! I know, shocking, right?
  • Lobo. The Main Man himself, Lobo appears in the DLC and remastered edition of Injustice.
  • Martian Manhunter. A shapeshifter and the last living Martian.
  • Nightwing. The Boy Wonder became a crime fighter in his own right! Has a bit of a rivalry with Deathstroke.
  • Raven. Everyone’s favorite goth from the 2000s show. Sadly, she appears to have changed here, and not for the better.
  • Scorpion. The hellbound, hellfire-spewing ninja himself! Mortal Kombat’s poster boy has made his way into the Injustice universe, and he has quite a bone to pick with just about everyone.
  • Shazam. Captain Marvel (no, not Marvel) makes a return here! With the strength of Hercules and the wisdom of Solomon, he’s a force to be reckoned with. He doesn’t like lasers very much though.
  • Sinestro. The iconic Yellow Lantern who used to be Hal Jorden’s friend. Or…maybe he still is?
  • Solomon Grundy. Born on a Monday…
  • Superman. The caped crusader, the man of steel! Superman…is both is and isn’t these things anymore!
  • Wonder Woman. The amazon herself, but there are two of her around!
  •  Zatana. A magician who knows a thing or two about showbiz. Also really good at talking backward.
  •  Zod. Superman’s dark reflection. A general with aims to take over the Earth.
