Time to talk about one of the absolute strangest games we have ever heard of. Island Days , sequel to School Days , is a combination dating sim and tower defense. In the game’s “story” mode, it plays out like a visual novel. You play as Makoto Ito who is stuck on a deserted island with several of his female classmates. Your job is to… well.. mack it to every girl that you can. Oh yeah, it would also be nice if you figured out a way to get off the island without starving to death, but that is totally optional.
There is also a battle portion of the game that plays out like a traditional tower defense. In this mode, wild animals are slowly approaching your camp. It’s up to you to block the animals from moving forward. By succeeding in battle mode, relationships with each of the girls increase. In addition, by succeeding in the romance mode, you will get new weapons to use in battle mode.
Island Days comes out on May 1 st for the Nintendo 3DS.
