The Konami pre-E3 press conference has ended. The lucky ducks that were there saw tons of new previews for upcoming Konami games. However, it’s the game with the least info that we are probably the most excited about. At the end of the briefing, they left us with a very cryptic message. All that Konami said was that “they” were coming. A short trailer showed nothing more than a fireball crossing the screen before finally curving into a C-shape, reminiscent of the classic Contra logo.  Apparently, Contra is coming to current generation consoles. We have no idea what this new Contra will be like. All we can say is that it had better be 2D or we’re going to spread shot someone. We aren’t entirely sure if “they are coming” means some undisclosed time in the future, or specifically at this year’s E3.
