Lead Designer On New Vegas Releases Mod

Lead Designer On New Vegas Releases Mod

None

Game designers can often have a reputation for indifference toward their products, so it’s always encouraging to find someone who is truly passionate about his work. Joshua Eric Sawyer, the lead designer on Fallout: New Vegas, is just such a person.

Even though Bethesda, it seems, is done updating New Vegas, Sawyer has taken it upon himself to finish what he started. His new mod, titled JSawyer, isn’t a complete revamp of New Vegas, it’s an attempt to fix bugs and known issues and to increase the difficulty of the game.

According to Sawyer, in order to install the JSawyer mod, you’ll need every piece of official DLC ever released for New Vegas, and you may run into problems if you have any other mods installed. But considering the gigantic list of fixes in Sawyer’s release notes, it’ll be worth it.

If you’ve already powered through Fallout: New Vegas, and you didn’t get Skyrim for Christmas, Sawyer’s new mod might be a pretty solid substitute until your birthday rolls around.
