According to Shack News, details surrounding the upcoming DLC for Left 4 Dead are imminent. Valve promised to bring gamers news on the extra content before Christmas, but the jolly fat man has already squeezed his way down the chimney. Why has the announcement been delayed? And when can we expect it? According to an interview with Kotaku, “the holidays aren’t actually so much delaying it [the announcement] as the press guys–[marketing VP] Doug [Lombardi]’s been taking some time. We’ll have an announcement shortly, I don’t know exactly when.” Though details are scarce right now, it has been confirmed that the DLC will include new playable scenarios and will release simultaneously for both Xbox 360 and PC. Moreover, DLC for PC will likely be free.
