Everybody’s favorite fabric friend, Sackboy, finally has a solid release date for his upcoming adventure, Little Big Planet 2. According to the PlayStation Blog, LBP2 will be coming out on November 16th, hitting stores just slightly before the craziest shopping day of the year.  Much like the original game’s release, there will also be a host of preorder bonuses distributed across a series of different retailers. In short, preorders at Amazon get you Ratchet & Clank costumes, Best Buy provides a Toy Story Alien costume, Gamestop nets you a TRON: Legacy costume, and all those who preorder will receive a cobra, vulture, mandrill, and crocodile costume no matter which retailer they choose. However, unlike the first game’s release, there will be a special edition of the game coming at launch as well. The special edition of LBP2 will retail at $79.99 and comes with a pair of game ends (bookends), all the preorder costumes (including a Gonzo costume that didn’t have a corresponding preorder retailer yet), exclusive Jak and Daxter costumes, five exclusive PSN avatars, and a 7 inch Sackboy plushie. |
