LittleBigPlanet Move Pack Gets Release Date

For the past two E3s, the LittleBigPlanet team has been teasing us with the game’s PlayStation Move capabilities. So far, we haven’t yet seen all the wonderful things the Move can do implemented in the game itself. Well, a new update to the official LittleBigPlanet site has finally given us motion control junkies hope. The Move DLC pack, entitled “Rise of the Cakeling,” will be dropping on September 4th, 2011, and it will include way more than just PS Move capabilities.



Not only will the new DLC pack include a brand new story mode, it also will include 4 new music tracks, 8 new music sequencer tracks, a new sound object with 32 new sounds, 17 new music sequencer instruments, a new background, 6 new costumes, 18 new materials, 41 new decorations, 13 new objects, 68 new stickers, 39 new LittleBigPlanet pins, 11 new trophies, and new power-ups and tools such as the Brane Crane that lets you move things with your mind. Players will also be able to play through all of the original story levels as well as all community-built levels with the move controller once they download the DLC pack.

All this to say that September is going to be a good month for LBP fans.
