Marvel vs. Capcom 4 Is Supposedly in Development

Did you love Marvel vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, or Marvel vs. Capcom 3 ? Well, you might have something else to love soon. Polygon says that Marvel vs. Capcom 4 is on the way. Supposedly, Capcom will announce it at the 2016 PlayStation Experience this weekend.

It also will apparently have a cast that’s rather different than previous Marvel vs. Capcom games. It will focus on members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This means we’d be more likely to see characters from The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Agents of Shield, Ant Man , and maybe even Luke Cage , rather than members of the X-Men. If true, this would likely be due to the X-Men and Deadpool properties being owned by Fox, while Disney holds rights to the others.

I think I’d be up for another round of Marvel vs. Capcom . It has been about five years since Marvel vs. Capcom 3 . Now’s a good time to bring the fighter to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
