Metal Gear Solid 4: a game that launched in a world without trophies back when Sony hadn’t yet decided that an achievement-esque system was a core requirement for an online-enabled, multiplayer device. That changed and, in the years since, patches have occasionally rolled out for existing games that have introduced trophy support to the once-untrophied. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be getting them in its next patch. Consider it a consolation prize for Konami having taken down the title’s multiplayer servers.
