Who would have thought that trophies and achievements were going to be so important to this generation of gamers? Hideo Kojima apparently didn’t, because Metal Gear Solid 4 still lacks trophy support. Remember when we didn’t need trophies to motivate us to take Solid Snake into the field? Those were the days. However, according to a report coming out of Famitsu, a Japanese budget re-release of the game will be dropping in August complete with trophy support patched in. The report calls this re-release version “The Best” version. Most likely that title will be changed should it come to America.
