As announced in a press release published on Tuesday, June 24, Metro series publisher Deep Silver has revealed the release date of the remastered versions of Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light , entitled Metro: Redux .
Launching on Microsoft’s Xbox One and Sony’s PlayStation 4, Metro: Redux will release on Tuesday, August 26 in the US and on Friday, August 29 in Europe.
Metro: Redux was officially confirmed for a summer release back in May following a retail leak in March, and the bundle will include all the previously released add-on content.
Furthermore, the respective campaigns of the remastered versions of Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light will include “Spartan” and “Survival” playstyles, and Render mode will also be included in both games as well.
If you don’t want to buy both games, each remastered version will be available separately– Metro: 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux –via digital download only.
Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux will be available separately upon release via digital download for the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC for a suggested price of $24.99 / €19.99 / £15.99.
Metro Redux will sell for a suggested retail price of $49.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux will be available for a suggested price of $24.99 / €19.99 / £15.99 for the same platforms.
Dedicated Linux and SteamOS versions will be available later on in the year. A list for the features you can expect in Metro: Redux has been detailed below.
