Game industry analyst Michael Pachter is up to his old tricks predicting the future! This time around, Pachter is trying to predict the NPD results of February sales before they hit. According to Pachter, the strongest hardware sales will belong to the Xbox 360, with close to 400,000 sales followed by the PlayStation 3 with 310,000. Pachter also sees a huge slide for the Nintendo Wii, and doesn’t see more than 305,000 units shifting for the console, which would represent a 21% dive for the console.  Pachter sees the same pattern in software, with the Xbox 360 coming out on top for the month of February with $185 million in sales, PlayStation 3 with $165 million, and Nintendo coming up short again with $160 million in software sales.
