On his website, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson just announced an upcoming way for Xbox 360 owners to find XBLA games. Explaining the features we can expect from what he referred to as Destination Arcade he stated “You’ll have the ability to sort by price, community rating, and more! Also, stay up to date on the latest arcade releases through a news feed and also find out what games your friends like and recommend.”  The Destination Arcade app will be made available on July 14th in the US and will be accessible through the Games Marketplace section of the dashboard. Based on the pictures provided with this announcement, Destination Arcade certainly looks like an improvement, visually and otherwise, over the somewhat clunky interface currently being used. |
