Minecraft will Support the Oculus Rift

Minecraft will Support the Oculus Rift

Virtual reality just found itself a really strong support system. One of the most popular PC games released in about the last five years is going to back it. Minecraft will be coming to the Oculus Rift. And suddenly, parents everywhere are shuddering because kids love this game and are going to want the peripheral so they can play it properly.

Minecraft will support the Oculus Rift starting in 2016. The Windows 10 version of the game is the one that will work with the virtual reality headset, and it will also support the Xbox One controller. More exact release details were unavailable, but the fact that one of the most popular open-world survival and creation games will offer VR support is news enough. It could be exactly the sort of gateway game the Oculus Rift needs.
