Mortal Kombat X has just come up with the most awesome way to deal with ragequitters. If the game notices that your opponent has disconnected, first of all it awards you a win and them a loss. However, it’s not just any win. You actually get a special win, called a “Quitality” in which the sheer rage of your opponent makes their head explode into blood and gore. It’s not quite as satisfying as other –alities, but it is a nice little addition, not to mention each character has their own voice quips to respond to your opponent backing out of the fight.
It’s unclear as to whether or not other bonuses will be given for causing a certain amount of Quitalities either, much as the game keeps track of your Fatalities and other sorts of –alities. Either way, quitting at this point only rewards the other player and damages your own record. So hey, don’t do it.
