Neocore Games Announces New Seafaring Tactical RPG

None

During E3, we stopped by to hang out with the kind folks at Neocore Games. They let us play The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing for a bit (we’ll be posting a preview soon) before spilling the beans about another project they’re working on called Broken Sea.

Broken Sea is described as a party-based tactical RPG that, as its name suggests, features a lot of seafaring. You will begin the game in a secluded monastery in the cold northern islands, but you’ll eventually be setting sail on the Dominion Ship—we’ve been told it’s the last of its kind—embarking on a journey that will undoubtedly test your nautical mettle.

In a press release that went out on Friday, Zoltan Pozsonyi, producer at Neocore Games, had this to say: “Broken Sea follows the classical traditions of RPG adventures. Putting a party together in search of the truth is a tale anybody can get behind. Thanks to the epic story and the unique party-based tactics on offer, Broken Sea is poised to offer something really engaging and immersive to players.”

Broken Sea will be exclusive to PC, but we haven’t heard an official release date yet.
