Want a 3D camera but don’t want to break the bank? Consider getting a Nintendo 3DS. After all, I’m sure those expensive digital 3D cameras won’t play Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright when that comes out. A massive 3DS firmware update has given users access to a whole bunch of new features and enhancements. This includes 3D video capture, which will allow you to record ten minute 3D videos and includes time lapse interval shot capabilities, stop motion capabilities, and more. Essentially, your 3DS has become your own personal portable 3D movie maker.
The 3DS shop has been updated as well, allowing people to now play demos of selected 3DS games. In addition, gamers will now be able to transfer content between 3DS systems including eShop software, save data, photographs, and audio. The 3DS can also now conduct downloads while in sleep mode, so as to not interrupt gameplay. This way, you can get the next big demo while your 3DS is charging, and still have time to play Tetris on the bus. By Angelo M. D’Argenio |
