New Assassin’s Creed Game Reportedly Listed for PS3 / Xbox 360

New Assassin’s Creed Game Reportedly Listed for PS3 / Xbox 360

As reported by GameSpot on Sunday, August 3, Swiss retailer World of Games has listed a new Assassin’s Creed game for previous-gen consoles, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The game in question is said to be the rumored Assassin’s Creed title “ Assassin’s Creed Comet ”, which is now referred to as “ Assassin’s Creed Rogue ”.

Although the listing has since been removed, stirrings of Assassin’s Creed Rogue occurred back in March. According to GameSpot, the title will reportedly be set in North America, and to the supposed protagonist this time around will be a Templar named Shay.

Since Templars are typically the antagonists of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, It’s been speculated that Shay may be a rogue Templar, which would tie into the title’s namesake.

Also according to GameSpot, Assassin’s Creed Rogue will also allow you to “ do a great deal of sailing ” in the Atlantic Ocean near New York. Assassin’s Creed Rogue has been described as a title that crosses Assassin’s Creed III and the Freedom Cry DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag .

It’s been also reported that previous characters, such as Haytham Kenway and Adewale, will make an appearance in this Assassin’s Creed title. It has been presumed that Assassin’s Creed Rogue will launch this Fall.

We’ll bring you more news on Assassin’s Creed Rogue should further information reach our ears.
