New Batman: Arkham Knight Will Not Have Multiplayer, Will Have Kevin Conroy

Another year another chance to BE THE GODDAMN BATMAN! Batman: Arkham Knight has just been announced and Rocksteady is dumping a whole bunch of new information about the upcoming Bat-Game into our laps.

First of all, the game is going to be huge. It will take place in all of Gotham City, which will be almost five times the size of Arkham City ’s maps. Players will be able to drive around in the Batmobile at incredible speeds. As a result, the map will feature incredibly wide roads allowing you to drift and trick on your Bat-Wheels to your hearts content. You can also summon the Batmobile at any point at the press of a button, and use the Batmobiles ejector seat to reach high places at huge velocities.

In addition, Kevin Conroy is coming back to take on the role of Batman! The iconic Batman voice was replaced by Roger Craig Smith in Arkham Origins , but his iconic growl that we know and love from the WB’s Batman Saturday morning cartoon will be coming back

Unfortunately, the game is so massive in scope, the team will have to ditch some features, and one of those features is multiplayer. According to Rocksteady’s Sefton Hill the team just isn’t going to have time to make a multiplayer mode. “We don’t have the time to do multiplayer,” he said. “We want to focus on making the best single-player experience we can. We don’t feel that it needs a multiplayer element.”
