New Black Ops: Declassified Details Emerge

New Black Ops: Declassified Details Emerge

None

According to new details released by Activision, the new Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified will be much more than just a Vita version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. In fact, the game will include special content made specifically for the Vita.

This content will include a brand new multiplayer mode designed for Vita play, as well as a brand new campaign and series of Special Ops missions. The game supposedly takes place in the past, prior to the events of Call of Duty Black Ops 2. Judging by how Activision is talking about the game, it probably will include entirely different maps, guns, and characters as well.

Unfortunately, this does mean some speculated features have been put to rest. The idea of cross-platform Vita/PS3 play is sounding less and less realistic.

However, they might be planning some sort of indirect connectivity. For example, we might see the Vita used as a PS3 controller. This would allow things like your HUD or mini-map to be shown on the vita touchscreen.
