New Characters Revealed For SoulCalibur V

The Gamescom fighting game reveals continue with a new trailer for SoulCalibur V. In this trailer, several new—or should we say old?—faces were revealed. Hilde, Voldo, Maxi, and Tira, characters from SoulCalibur’s past, all showed their stuff in the trailer, and they all seem to be buffed. Maxi is even faster than he was before, and Hilde seems to be far more mobile. Even Tira has more range on her gigantic death hula hoop.



This is actually a bit more of a testament to the faster speed of SoulCalibur V’s fighting engine than it is changes to the characters themselves. Even Siegfried, who was shown once again in the trailer, seems to have gotten much faster. Still, the glimpses we got of these characters were brief and short at best, and I’m sure much more will be revealed later in the months leading up to release. We will bring you more SoulCalibur V information as it becomes available.
