New Dragon Age Novel In The Works

New Dragon Age Novel In The Works

None

BioWare Senior Writer David Gaider is producing more fiction set in the tumultuous, dark fantasy world of Dragon Age in the form of Dragon Age: Asunder .

Whereas previous novels were prequels to the original Dragon Age: Origins, the newest one is set after the events of Dragon Age II. Asunder ’s focus is a mage who has been accused of murder and must prove himself innocent within his order. This is the first book in the series to take place after the events of a game, and it will be interesting to see whether those tales play into each other. More importantly, how will Gaider choose to preserve the sanctity of player choice within the Dragon Age world, now that his novels are set in a world affected by those choices? The first two were well received; will fans be as eager for a tale that spins off from the stories that they felt they had guided?

We’ll find out later this year, when the book is released.
