New Fighter Joins KOF XIII

New Fighter Joins KOF XIII

None

Fighting game fans everywhere are waiting eagerly for The King of Fighters XIII. The franchise, which was known as Street Fighter’s old rival, unfortunately didn’t wow critics with their previous installment KOF XII. In fact, the graphics were so shoddy and the feature set was so sparse, many gamers called it one of the worst King of Fighters games to come out in our generation.

KOF XIII is looking to fix all the issues that KOF XII had and then some. In fact, a new fighter is joining the roster for the console release only. Billy Kane from Fatal Fury is joining the fray with his three-section staff. He will be getting a brand new high-definition sprite, along with all of the other fighters, and of course a tweaked move-list and playstyle. This will be his first appearance in a KOF game in this generation.

KOFXIII will come out on October 27th in Japan. No North American release date has been declared yet, but if the game does well overseas we can be certain that it will come to our shores eventually.
