Nintendo Outsells Competition in November

The NPD Group has stated that Nintendo sold fifty-five percent of all video game systems in the month of November. Nintendo sold nearly a half million Wiis in the U.S. following the launch on November 19. The Wii was not Nintendo’s biggest seller though. Both the DS and GameBoy Advance were able to trump Wii sales.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess also achieved sales of 412,000. This total represents eighty-seven percent of Wii owners, the highest sales rate of any launch title since Super Mario 64 with the Nintendo 64.
