Nuclear Golf Melting Faces This Summer

Nuclear Golf Melting Faces This Summer

Let’s play a word association game. I’m going to pair two terms together, and you see if you can figure out how or why they would relate at all. Ready? Golf and mutants. Country Club and nuclear waste. Pitching wedge and boss battle. Par and carnage. Sensing a theme here? There’s really no sensible reason why any of these words should relate, but then, Nuclear Golf isn’t really a game you’d describe as sensible. This is a 2D golfing game from the twisted mind of Nathan Meunier, the co-founder of Touchfight Games who you can blame for the dark choose-your-own-misadventure This Book Is a Dungeon .

In Nathan’s own words, Nuclear Golf is “…an outrageous and fast-paced 2D golfing game with explosions, destructible terrain, and boss battles set in and around a radiation soaked post-apocalyptic county club.” What Metalocalypse is to cartoons, Nuclear Golf is to golf games, and we’re into that. I haven’t been excited about a golf game since Hot Shots: Open Tee, so I’ll definitely be playing this on my Vita this summer. My wife won’t understand. Nuclear Golf will be available on PS4 as well, and if you’re patient you can play the game on Steam this fall (Greenlight page here ). If you’re having a hard time wrapping your head around Nuclear Golf I can’t blame you, so I’ll let the announcement trailer speak for itself:
