Original Bioshock Announced for Mobile Platforms

Technology is a marvelous thing. Back when Bioshock first game out, it was a piece of graphical masterwork. No one could imagine the game coming to anything but powerful PCs and consoles… at the time. Now, however, Bioshock is coming to a different sort of platform… mobile platforms. Yes, you will soon be able to dive into rapture, complete with every single bit of story and voice acting  you remembered from the original.

The game is controlled with a virtual analog stick. The left side of the touch screen controls player movement. Aiming is controlled by a virtual analog stick on the right side of the screen. Unfortunately, firing is also tied to a touch control on that side of the screen, meaning you can’t fire and aim at the same time. Better to stick to lower level difficulties on this one.

Regardless, the game plays and it plays well. So if you want a copy of Bioshock to carry around in your pocket, keep your eyes peeled. A price and release date has not yet been revealed, but its set to come out later this summer.
